I'm alive!

I haven't been on DA for soooooo long, but I went to the Supanova in Brisbane today, and there's a few Deviant Artists I need to check out (and one in particular I need to e-stalk).

I think I might try to actually use this site a bit more than I have been. I met someone today who's doing a university course in animation, and I realised it's exactly what I want to do. To get to a desirable level of artsiness, however, I'm going to have to do a LOT of practice, and study of other works, and learning of new techniques and such, seeing as my "art" style is, at the moment, refined to something only slightly beyond stick people.

On a side note, I really hope the person doing the animation course doesn't read this. She'd probably be a indescribably creeped out to discover that she's essentially determined the course of my life (or the next few years of it, at the least).
